| Super Famicom Gundam game Requests (Raw Scans Included) (Thanx for any help) |

| Arseen:
First step is flattening thwe box between book under weight (for exsample sit on the book). Then put the box on the scanner straight, DONOPT CLOSE THE SCANNER LID IT CAN STAY OPEN, put hard cover book on the box (bigger than the box but smaller than the scanner bed so it's not resting on the edges) add some weight. Take a preview scan, if straight ->crop, put moire removal on and scan. |

Should I do that for a higher quality scan or should I stick with the 300dpi That people generally ask for? |

As SFC boxes are way smaller than UGCs I'd say go for 600DPI. 600DPI also leaves wiggle room for artists so as general rule always go with 600DPI. |

Higher than that and the defects in over scanning start to show up. |
