i hate to see noone responding. looks like you've been asking about this for awhile now.

i remember asking you for a scan before and you blew me off.
i didn't want to type to you because i figure you don't like me for some reason.
i just hate to see a fellow tcp member not getting help with something.

anyway, i'll start working on it for you and if noone else helps, then expect an upload.
goodnight.

seriously? I honestly don't remember that, which scan was it?
dude, I'm sorry if I gave that impression, I'm a nice guy and try to get on with everybody, don't ever feel like you cant talk to me

that 'igs' logo looks excellent, thanks for that!
the pgm is my next project im going to work on, it would be nice to have the logo sooner rather than later...

i cannot remember which box. something snes. I think that i saw a photo you had posted and me and my Fiancee said "oh, he has the box." I thought that i'd ask you for a scan. I am not so popular round here, so i figure that you didn't want to scan and moved on. I have tried to think of the scan but i just cannot recall. I remember asking someone about Bram Stoker's Dracula but i don't think that it was you.

anyway, i believe that the IGS logo that i've found is the actual modern-day IGS logo. It matches the one on their website.
I have already started removing the shadow because you had requested a white or black outline.

i am working on a larger reproduction for you. I will use the PGM logo from the manual but it needs to be elongated to match the one in the image that you had posted. Regardless, i will make a few different images and post all of them for you.

i've read your request and i will follow it - red bg with PGM logo, IGS logo with white outline and one with a black outline.

i cannot be too fast because i have a few things to do today and tomorrow but i will work on it in between my schedule.
i will finish what i've started and post it here for you. maybe a week at the most but i expect it to be completed sooner.

i'm happy to help  :) no worries.

Neomann - when you've done it, is there any chance you can run me through the basics of how to do it?  I assume you use illustrator - it just confuses the hell out of me.

live trace method of illustrator is the way to begin the process. Many tutorials exist that are probably easier to follow. I did a quick search for the simplest instructions. Maybe you could try it later.

--- Code: ---http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/illustrator/ss/Recreate-Logo.htm
http://www.instructables.com/id/Turning-a-pixel-image-into-a-vector-image-using-Ad/
--- End code ---

i actually use different software/methods. i am not a fan of adobe software.
i use tracing options as well, then perfect the trace with different tools, then i use vectorizing software to convert my trace to vector. I then open the vector in my editor to save it as a .psd file.

vectorizing has cons and i often clean the image myself before using any trace tools.
i've even managed to make a perfect trace using 'magic wand' tools with appropriate settings.

edit:
in order to complete a logo such as the PGM of the manual, i have to first clean the image, then i can begin to trace. The background needs removed from the letters before continuing.
