best tv for old systems

You could ask around at work, I hear people at my work that have CRT's and want to get rid of them...you could probably find one for free, just pick up!
Or on trash day people still put them out, or find our your local curbside pickup dates are and drive around that morning. Freecycle on yahoo groups is another good source too. That way if they turn out to be not light-gun friendly, you don't feel so bad as you didn't spend any money!

I would defi. go for Sony Trinitron....or ever better Bang & Olufsen mx 4000 or mx 6000, isnt any better TVs for retro gaming;)

I think any Trinitron or Quintrix 4:3 CRT will do the job. I happen to have a B&O, but they can be quite expensive depending on where you live.

i can vouch for the Quintrix, really nice, works with zapper/light gun (the reason i bought it), plenty of old skool inputs;
don't know what model it is though...
