Thanks, I have two options if I find the biggest crt TV that can play light guns.

1- search and buy on eBay or Craigslist and my brother who lives in the states can make a local pick up and send it to me via ship (on water)

2- search for one here in the Dominican Republic and from what I can see is not so easy finding one in good condition

The goodwills and thrift stores around me are loaded with large CRT tv's for 5$. Bigger ones seem to sell the least too. I would hate to see shipping costs on a TV internationally though

Lol I know, is cheaper via ship, it takes more time to get here but for big and heavy things is a better and cheaper option.  :P

As long as it doesn't have a digital processor, otherwise it's as useless as any HDTV.

Not with light guns

If it's not HD it will, but good luck finding one of those old clunkers at this point.

Gun compatibility has nothing to do with the TV being a CRT or not, contrary to popular belief.  It's largely about how the screen refreshes.

It's also likely to have a digital processor, making it useless for light gun games.  A LOT of the last-gen CRTs are.  I have a 36" sony that I bought just for light gun games, only to find out it isn't compatible.  Now I have a 250lb. TV in my basement that's totally useless :(

I always heard the Sony Trinitron was a good crt for retro games, but maybe there are different versions of the same model (ones with/without a digital processor?)

This is the first time I've heard of the Sony Wega though I'm not an expert on all the different tv models.
