I've recently purchased a new copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U, and it doesn't have an instruction manual.

Is anyone able to confirm that it doesn't come with one, and I haven't just been ripped off by the store?

I was hugely disappointed when A Link Between Worlds didn't come with one, so I'm assuming that it's the same case here but just wasn't to check.

Thanks!

I got the Club Nintendo code, but there wasn't any instructions on how to access the digital manual. But I don't think I'm missing too much there... :)

Bunch of bs they don't give you manuals with the new games anymore. They do it under the guise of helping the environment, but they're really just trying to save a buck and ease us into the digital age.

I mean, I'm all for that granola head, hug a tree hippie crap, but at least give me a stupid manual with my game.

The trashcan by the mailbox in my community is overflowing with everyone's junk mail every day, but no manual for a $60 game.. end rant.

Couldn't agree more.  Seems kinda ridiculous to me.  Heck, even a simple controls explanation would be helpful.  I know a good number of games these days have a fairly good tutorial type section at the beginning, but it gets kinda cumbersome to check the digital manual if you forget something mid-game.

Yeah.. Link Between Worlds and Etrian Odyssey IV didn't have a manual... My Tales of the Abyss does though, and is my only 3DS game that has a manual.

Makes me sad :(

Tales of the Abyss is a 2011 game, the other games are all 2013 and onward, so yeah, that probably has something to do with it.
