Also, take an hour of your time and watch these videos http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=14505.0 I knew nothing (and still know little), but those videos are SO HELPFUL, I cant recommend them enough to anyone who has never used photoshop, or anyone who has used it, and found it intimidating and frustrating.
