Super Nintendo manual scans

Mel:

I did end up finding another scan of the Contra III snes manual.

Kirkland:

When you *do* get ready to open that Pandora's box, I'm coming up on 20,000 pages of SNES manuals scanned at 600dpi (roughly 190GB of TIFFs).  To say it is painfully slow to make them perfect is an understatement, but the finished ones make it all worthwhile.  To appease the anti-pirate gods, I've slowly begun to resize them to 4K and 2K monitor resolutions for jpgs for frontend usage (of course saving the original and retouched 600dpi versions).  Foolishly these weren't scanned RAW, but only my Epson DS-510 made it possible to think about converting this many manuals (~650 of the SNES's 724).  I've got staples pulled on most of my Genesis manuals, and I know some people are going to enjoy me moving on to the rest of my manual archive....

I would be looking for the expensive ones. The ones you do not want to bleed money on it, but would really like to complete the set.

Example:
-Harvest Moon
-Mega man 7, X2, X3
-Soul Blazer

Kirkland:

For the US SNES manual set, I've got 42 left to get that appear to have never been scanned, 16 that have existing (inferior) scans I'd like to replace, and 7 that I have European ones as placeholders.  Luckily, I had a bunch of the semi-rare ones from 15 years ago.  Unfortunately the cost of the remaining ones has probably stalled me on this set for now.  Might have to sell some dupes before I crash their value ;)
