The CD case format for Gex: Enter the Gecko is already up on the site. I can't help you on Saiyuki: Journey West though.

That's only Gex.  Gex: Enter the Gecko is "Gex 2".  Thanks for your input though :)

I think someone needs to learn how to be patient.

I'm patient... it was a joke.

If someone can post these covers up, great.  If not, then oh well  :-\

We HAD a scanner at some point, until my Dad decided it was so old it was fit to be thrown out.

I, being a poor college student, haven't the funding to go out and buy a new one. Which is a double pity, because I have a ton of PS1 games (black label, to boot) that I'd love to upload stuff for in its regular CD Jewel Case form.

Just to name off a list of what I've got (black label unless noted):

Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy Anthology
Final Fantasy Chronicles (GH)
Final Fantasy Tactics (GH :( )
Front Mission 3
Revelations: Persona
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Vagrant Story
Bushido Blade
Bushido Blade 2
Brave Fencer Musashi
Legend of Mana
Saga Frontier
Saga Frontier 2
Ogre Battle
Resident Evil: Director's Cut
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Kartia
Saiyuki: Journey West
Parasite Eve
Parasite Eve 2
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue
Xenogears
Tekken 3

I'd certainly like to get some of these up, if I could.

you can get a decent scanner for like $50 that will get the job done, mine was about that much.

i'm paying my way through college too but thats not too bad of a price.  ;)

I'll see. I'd have to justify to myself that I'm somehow paying $50 for more than a means by which I can upload a bunch of PS1 case art.

I don't see any other reason to own a PS1. N64 had all the great multiplayer, adventure, and platforming games, and the Dreamcast was King of Fighters (although the wonderful Bushido Blade was still PS1-only).

Reason:  to name a few ...

Cool Boarders 1-2-3-4-2001
Final Fantasy 1-2-4-5-6-7-8-9-Tactics
Metal Gear 1-VR
Resident Evil 1-2-3
Tony Hawk 1-2-3-4
Twisted Metal 1-2-3-4-Small Brawl

those are some pretty successful/fun franchises  ;)

back on topic:
i hope we do get some scans of Gex, it was pretty fun when it came out
