Atomic Purple or Kiwi Green Gameboy Color

I have both.  I love the look of the purple the best, hence why I voted purple.  But I much prefer to play games on the kiwi green.

Had to vote on the kiwi green, had one as a kid. Also not the biggest fan of the Atomic purple scheme (least favorite of the translucent n64 controllers).   BUT if I had to pick any gbc color it would be the teal (blue) hands down.    Fun poll thanks

Don't like to see cables, board etc. On anything unless that was it's first and only look

I voted Kiwi Green, as I'm not a fan of coloured translucent plastic.

I don't mind clear translucent, I have put one of my Wii-motes in a clear translucent casing, but I've never liked the coloured varieties.

Besides, it'd be nice if the Kiwis finally actually won something, even in if it just an online poll about a colour of the same name.

The problem with the atomic purple, actually playing it, is the screen is dark, the color is dark and transparent, and in an ill lit room it actually makes the screen harder to see.  This is not a factor with the kiwi green.  Not sure if it's because it's a brighter color or because it's not transparent, but it just seems easier on the eyes.  But just sitting on the shelf I much prefer the purple.  Hence the vote.
And before anyone asks, this has been tested on multiple GB colors, so my purple one is not damaged, screen tint, etc.

Hmm thats interesting, I never thought about it like that! Personally I would never use a GBC again I'm 2 spoiled by back and front lite screens! Although I do want to get a modded GBC at some point for playing games like Kirby's tilt and tumble!
