I just removed a Blockbuster Video sticker from a Pocky & Rocky 2 cart that I just bought off of a friend. It's in fairly immaculate condition (especially for what used to be a rental game), but when I removed the sticker, it left behind a bunch of silver VOIDs. Don't worry though, it was on the back side. Here's a picture of it-

So what is the best method to removing this crap?

Bestine. Removes goo with almost no effort and is very kind to the labels themselves. It's the best of both worlds. Almost too good to be true :)

It ain't cheap though :(

goo gone gel is good, as long as you keep it away from the label you want to keep.  Or if worse comes to worse, away from the edges of the label, since most labels have a clear cover to protect them.

India Pale Ale with 80% alcohol?

LOL!

sorry, I work in a lab, so whenever someone asks for IPA or iso, I know what they mean

IPA in this instance stands for isopropyl alcohol
you dont want the pure stuff, but an 80% solution should be fine
if you use it, remember to use 2 cloths, one to remove the sticker residue and another to remove any excess iso

Or drink the pale ale 80% and you'll forget there's even a sticker there.

Those are the worst, I usually do magic eraser with isopropyl but its has to be done quick and press light. Why must retailers destroy our precious SNES games?! Lol yea if anything goes wrong throw the back of a 2$ sports snes game on there.

That's how I remove markers.  ISO just doesn't do as good on stickers.

Worse ones are stickers that cross over the labels.  Those I generally start by using a hair dryer to get very warm\hot.

TRY BESTINE.

You'll never dick around with any of the other "tricks" again. Hell, there's even an FAQ on my blog with videos.

Here's one that will cost you absolutely nothing, and I'm sure you have one ready at every second! Your thumb!

I've removed several of these Void stickers in my time (from carts, cases, manuals, and even covers) and what I usually do is just peel it off first and then rub the adhesive off with my thumb afterwards. It will start to ball-up and should come off pretty easy! Of course something like Goo Gone etc. will work but I prefer not to use that unless totally necessary (which is not the case here). Especially how minor the left over "Void" is on your cart. I've done carts way worse.

I have always had good luck with wd40 and a little rubbing.  WD40 also get the labels to shine
