Yeah, I know the spine is off for DDS2... I don't know why. I didn't actually make either of the DDS covers - I was just making this series to go along with it. Maybe eventually I'll make my own custom covers for it.

As for FES, it's an expanded version of P3 that has a whole new scenario where you play as Aegis, as well as many changes in the original game. The FES is supposed to be short for "Festival".

I've been meaning to ask. Could someone convert the European version of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time to the US version? I think we can all agree when I say that the US cover we have is pretty bland.

A couple of customs, for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, using artwork by Australian artist Patrick Brown - http://patrickbrown.deviantart.com/gallery/#_featured. Thanks to KaiserWAVE for the original MGS3 cover, and Karel for the Vice City cover.

Very Nice covers. Altho I think the title should be bigger on the MGS3 cover. Looks a little funny all tiny in the corner.

That logo was on the original drawing. I've tried removing it, and using a larger logo. Here's the three best looking varieties.

Good stuff! The third one was what I had in mind. Looks much better. Now all your missing is the ratings.

I agree with both things you said. The 3rd one looks best and would be complete if the ratings and konomi logo were present

I always forget to add those sorts of things, because I hate them. I prefer clean artwork on the front. Anyway, here it is with the logos. Which is good, in a way, as it covers my dodgy attempt at removing the old logo in the bottom corner.

And here it is without the logos -

  • ...and that's the bottom line
You know, since it's a custom cover you can do whatever the hell you want with it :). It's really your decision. I hate these logos too to be honest. I don't need that on a custom cover. I always think of customs covers like special editions, like a DVD steelbook or something. So why don't you upload both versions if you still have both on your hdd?

And for the future... we all endorse creativity, that's what makes this project so great and stand apart from all the other cover sites on the net. So when you create a cover the first thing that matters is if YOU are happy with and proud of your work. If you showcase a cover and someone requests some minor changes you (or with your blessing even someone else) can always go back to the drawing board and try to comply. As corny as that sounds, just approach it with a free mind.

Then the option for both would be best. I like my covers to look as official as possible so ratings and company logos are a must for me!

That MGS3 cover looks great! Could you make a MGS3 Subsistence version as well please?

Something like this?

I used KaiserWAVE's MGS3:S cover for the back, which is why this is NTSC U/C. If you want it in PAL, you'll have to find me a scan of the PAL cover.

I also made an alternative, using another piece I found on deviantart. Artist is 'transfuse'.
