ADMIN EDIT:
I'm sure Applequeso knows that Resident Evil: Dead Aim is not a PS2 title he is just previewing the image above, it is a WIP. Just clarifying because last time we were spammed up with people trying to correct him.  :)

It is indeed a ps2 title.

I believe you're thinking of Resident Evil: Survivor.

I don't mean to be a pain, but would you be able to PAL-ify these RE PS2 covers? I don't need Dead Aim, but if you want to do that one as well, who knows, I might end up getting that at some point. But these covers look much better than the originals, and it'd be nice to have them all matching.

One extra request if you do make PAL versions, though. Could you either leave the PEGI/OFLC rating off the front, or just upload a second copy without them? The rating logo just seems to really stand out in those preview shots and distracts from the artwork.

Doesn't sound too difficult, so sure, I suppose, after I finish these. Can't give you a good estimate on when I'll be done (full time job and all) but after I get the backs finished on these I'll make the PAL versions and give you a special version with the PEGI/OFLC rating removed. Do you want the spine to actually have the RE font or just be the standard PAL look?

I'll probably tackle the Ps1 games after this, so let me know if you want those in PAL too.

yes yes yes! PLEASE!

Ha ha - i would love to have the PS1 and PS2 games in PAL format.  Not bothered on the spine decision as i will be modifying to put in a 7mm case.

these covers are fantastic though - love the look!

With the RE font, please. I really don't like the plan, standard text on PAL spines. I don't understand why they chose to do that. Unfortunately it's even carried through onto a few Xbox 360 games [Assassin's Creed, PES 6 and Street Fighter IV are a few that come to mind] But, thanks to your efforts and many others' on this site, they're gradually getting replaced.

And I'll second sheep2001's enthusiastic plea for the PS1 games too.

Thanks AppleQueso.

oh hey it actually looks pretty nice! I assume this means you'll be tackling the other ps2 games as well? (I'm guessing X-2 and XII at least)

I guess I'll have to prepare myself to spend a bit more money on cover printing next week!

Hey TCP,

I've been on the site about a week now reading and downloading covers, but this is actually my very first post. I got tired of looking at my Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection and decided to do this to it:

I can't figure out what to put above him on the spines or what to do with each cover, but it's a start.

Oh, and I used MS Paint, and I've never done any real image-editing before.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Oh! Almost forgot, the DMC "Chronicle" logo on the front isn't mine! That credit is to the7k.

Sorry to mention this, but Never use MS Paint! (for image editing like this) The way it saves files automatically makes them too low quality for the standards on The Cover Project. Sorry! Adobe Photoshop would be your best option, but failing that you could try Paint Shop Pro, The GIMP (free) and Paint.NET (free). Keep at it!

Quick question, should I make Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Director's Cut as separate covers (as in, treat them as seperate games)?

For the dual shock editions, I'd just be adding a small subtitle to the regular cover arts for those games.

@Doom:
Yeah yeah, I know, I know. But I haven't been able to wrap my brain around GIMP or my hands around a copy of PS, so for now it's just Paint.

@AppleQueso:

Absolutely make separate covers for those of us that like to have all the versions.

Anything and everything made in MS PAINT will not be added to the site for reasons stated by Doom previously. So I understand that the alternative image editing programs are difficult to use at first but is necessary.  If you dont then you will be essentially waisting your time to be blunt and i dont think anyone would want that.  At least for the time being you can download a trial of photoshop for 30 days.  :)
