You need an all-in-one? If not, most any cheap, newer Canon will do the job. I've been a canon person for a long time. Like Arseen, I've had/seen too many Epson products fails before they should :( I can check what mine is. I'm sure it can be found for less than $50 at this point. I've had it for about 6 years and it's never given me any issue and it's done a lot of scanning over the years. edit: Canon LiDE 60. Can be had on amazon for $25 at this point. Very highly rated as well :) |

Canon LiDE 60 is pretty dated. Also not rich in options. CanoScan LiDE210 for 80$ brand new, you can't beat that with a baseball bat. |

k, i went with both a scanner, and a new all in one. all in 1 http://www.microcenter.com/product/420158/PIXMA_MG3520_Wireless_Inkjet_Photo_All-in-One_Printer_Black scanner http://www.microcenter.com/product/307875/CanoScan_LiDE_700F_Color_Image_Scanner the hardware resolution on the solo scanner was better than any of the all in 1 could offer |

Great price on the printer tho, but before you buy check how much the ink refills will cost you. |
