Hello to all TCPers. Long time fan, but first time poster here.  :) I recently got a PS Vita, and seeing that still quite a few covers are missing I decided to attempt to help out a bit.

I decided to start out with FIFA Soccer, and this is actually the first cover I've ever made (aside from some customs in the past.) Hopefully it will prove useful to the project (no hard feelings if it gets shot down.  :'() I really hope I'm posting this in the right place, since I'm still confused on how exactly uploads need to be done. If I'm wrong PLEASE correct me/move my thread.

Retail Cover: (click for full size)

I really hope you like it/it meets all standards. Assuming all goes well, I will try scanning and making covers for every game I buy (Hopefully picking up more this weekend ;D)

Have a great day, everybody!

Exactly correct way of sharing the cover.

The face of the guy with red shirt seems out of focus.

Try flattening the cover more (hard cover book and some weight  directly on the cover on when scanning, no need tio close the scanner lid).

Otherwise that cover is fixable (some text an other stuff need cleaning).

Thank you and welcome to te site.

On closer look found one major thing wrong. the DPI is 96, we need 600 DPI scans or 300DPI ready covers.

It might be because of the way you shared that the DPI is screwed.

Try this on Mediafire:

Share -> more sharing options -> choosing the biggest size (1280 x 800) and shaing the Forum Embed Code.
Clicking the shared image then leads to preview image.

Awesome. One less heart-attack to worry about.

Thanks for the tip. I just rescanned it using your method and the picture is much crisper, and has less "fold shadows" :D

Otherwise that cover is fixable (some text an other stuff need cleaning).

Could you define "cleaning", please?  ??? Sorry :P

It is (or at least it should be) 300 DPI. I used a the cover of "Rayman Origins" as a template, and made sure to double check :P Anyways, here's the image shared with your method:

However, even for me it still is coming up at 96 DPI. Weird. :/ Do you have any other ideas of how to share it? I downloaded it from the "Download" button, and it did come in at 300 DPI for me, so I hope this works.

Anyways, I'll probably just start from scratch with the new scan. Thanks for all the help so far. :D

Okay, so I redid the whole thing from scratch. I did another scan using your method, but I set the initial resolution to 600 DPI, which was then downscaled to 300 DPI to match template. Compared to the original, this one should be MUCH crisper & cleaner. Also the colors are closer to the actual cover.

Retail Cover (updated, higher quality):

Hopefully this one will be good enough. :) Let me know if anything needs to be fixed.
