Looks like ds cases work according to the cover list. Is there any modification necessary?

For GBA, no, for GB and GBC, you have to cut some plastic out.
3DS cases require no modification.

Finding the right DS case with the GBA slot is starting to be a pain.  I bought 10 white DS cases off an ebay seller, if they're any good I might use them for GBA, and 3DS for GB\GBC.  Unsure on Lynx\GG

I looked on nintendos website thinking they still sold them in bulk but couldnt find them. Ebay about the only option? And Larry do you mean that GBA fits without mods or doesnt fit at all?

Older DS cases had a slot for them, but the newer eco-cases do not, but the carts will still fit in there loosely. GB and GBC games will not fit, the place the DS game goes in blocks it.
3DS cases, the DS card place is lover down, leaving just enough space.
