I didn't realize about the tittle, when it was post I read only "January pick ups"

I was just giving examples, those year names are also awkward. 2013-2019 are just odd to say.

2010 (twenty-ten) is easier to say than 2017 (twenty-seventeen) and 2020, obviously, twenty-twenty.

That's the point though, 2014 isn't any more awkward than 2013, though yes, the teens have more syllables than other numbers. This thread title blurb's a year late. Just sayin
