For the sorta tech-tarded like myself, what exactly is that?

It's a multi-console pcb for arcade sticks.  It has xbox 360/ps3 support with a normal usb cable and also ps1, 2 ,xbox, dreamcast support if I get their respective controller cables and crimp an rj45 connecter on the end.

I mainly got it for the 360 and ps3 support as oppossed to buying an arcade stick per system.

Could someone check does this template have the updated VB template in it.
Not sure but I think shenske updated it.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/TEMPLATES/NDS/Nintendo%20Handhelds%20Template%20-%20Shenske.psd

I know there is unofficial update somewhere on the boards but it was 100% accurate if I remember right.

It is in there yes, but I can see flaws in it that would cause it to not be a site worthy cover.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

How exactly do these work? I'm noticing they only have one control panel each. Are these linked together to play the same game board on both machines, but with separate screens and controls? That would make for some seriously comfortable 2 player action with all that room to yourself! ;)

Can link them together if I wanted, at the moment they just have 48-in-1 multi boards in them. Going to turn one of them into a 2 player horizontal cab and keep the other single player vertical. Covered all my bases there then!

Still need to replace the control panels with stock parts, not these stupid tennis game card reader things.

Had a terrible time trying to find any good scores at retro game stores in the are of California I'm vactioning in. However, Gamestops PS2 closeout didn't disappoint. 29 games for $21.62.

I see a request thread in my future.

Any chance you could scan the manual? To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the box and cart on this so whenever I grab a copy somewhere, Id probably do my own thing with a more retail box and actual NTSC cart shell and label. But the manual itself should be pretty good as is so scans would be pretty cool.

Cool, thanks for the scans! But I was actually looking for scans of the entire manual. Not just the cover...

Those Konami cabinets were usually placed back-to-back at the arcades I went to, linked together so you couldn't see the other person or their screen. Which I always thought was a bit strange, since the only game I can remember seeing on them was a football (soccer) one, where screen-peaking isn't really a major concern...

Oh, and I've just moved house (6 hours drive from my last house) so have all new second-hand stores to look through. Been a busy few weeks of buying (when I probably should have been unpacking boxes...)

The Legendary Starfy (DS) - $4
Green Lantern - Rise of the Manhunters (sealed, with bonus Green Lantern: First Flight dvd) (Wii) - $10
Sega Superstars Tennis (Xbox 360) - $3
Wall-E (sealed) (Wii) - $3
PS3 super-slim, 500gb - $120
FIFA 13 (PS3) - $8
Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest (Wii) - $12
FIFA 2001 (PS2) - $3
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Gamecube) - $60
We Sing (Wii) - $1 (Also came with 4 logitech USB microphones)
Super Mario 3D Land (3DS) - $20
Spy Hunter (3DS) - $3
Mensa Academy (3DS) - $2
Pink DS Lite - $10

And from ebay, a SFC lot:
Super Star Wars
Rushing Beat
Super Mario World
Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter II
Chrono Trigger
Super Donkey Kong
Super Donkey Kong 2
Mario Paint (with mouse)
The Jungle Book
For... $35 I think?

I had initially planned on using some of them as donor carts, but, with the exception of The Jungle Book, I'm not sure I can. Even though I have Australian PAL versions of many of them, I just... I can't do it. :)

There were a few more, but they've disappeared behind boxes and I can't remember them.

Eww, what's up with that cart shell on NB? ???

Also, any chance of just the raw scan of the box?

My guess would be universal shell that fit both the PAL/JAP and US SNES.
