Can't believe they still exist in this day and age!  What an outmoded method by which to get rid of your games. I mean, why sell a game that's worth $80 for only $35 when you've got eBay, amazon, Craig's list, etc. all a click or two away.  Hard to imagine that anyone would send these guys their valuable games. Ever. ???

Ever hang out in a used game store for a while and see all the people getting rid of "old junk"?  They walk out with pennies on the dollar generally.  Course I shouldn't talk, once I get snow tires replaced (I drive a Pontiac G8 and live in Ohio, it's december, I'm NOT driving on summer tires!) anyways once I get snow tires on, I'm going to see how much in-store credit a show down in columbus will give me if it's in-bulk.  I'm going to print out new labels for the 50+ Atari games and spruce them up, maybe even toss them into UGCs, see if I can dazzle him and get lots of in-store credit for same-day.  People keep saying people who run these types of stores know what their selling and wont be tricked by shiny stuff that looks rarer than it is.  I've never seen that, I paid $1.50 for my Q-berts Cubes, and see a guy selling a lose Earthbound for $350

I saw a guy the other day selling his Terminator Blu ray for a nickel at Game Dude. I felt bad for him and I honestly can't believe he went through with it.

I brought 30 nes carts into game crazy a few weeks ago and the guy wanted to give me like $25 or 35 in credit for them, can't remember for sure, but needless to say I didn't trade the games in.

The seller, maybe he has a tooma.

Or a tomba.  That was a neat game.

Most times that I go into a pawn shop to browse for old games I'm amazed at how goddamn dumb the regulars are.

I'll be silently going through boxes of old games as other customers come into the store to try selling whatever they have for just a few pennies so that they can buy a case of cheap shit beer. It's incredible how terrible some people are with managing their own money.

You totally nailed it. The mismanagement of money is a cause of so much agony in this world. Luckily I learned early in life, unfortunately on my own, how to manage money when it comes to needs and wants.

I think that I'm smarter with my money for seeing how badly my parents were with theirs. As a kid, my family always survived paycheck to paycheck. By time payday rolled around they had already spent their earnings. Sure, payday was a good day. But then there was 5-6 days of famine (not that we literally starved) before another paycheck. That's the story of my life, learning how to live life from watching other people fuck up their's.

Anyways, that's part of the reason I collect old games too. My mom busted her ass to provide me with a few games she could afford, but there was obviously a lot that I wanted and never got. Problem now solved.  ::)

It's good to learn from your mistakes.  Better to learn from someone elses.

Apart from that :P also because gaming is one of the thinks that Makes me calm down of the stress of every day, some times at work when I'm stress I start searching and that calm me Down. Also since a little kid I always enjoy playing with my parents, brother and sister.

watching F1 Races is onother thing that calm me down, I don't take calls, can't make anything in that time just go to the bathroom and sit again to watch the race  :P

I hate watching or listening news, can't stand reading a news paper (here in my country news are always of someone who kill other or political news, and that's other thing that hate, politics), I prefer spend my time in gaming, watching movies, series or cartoons, or being with my wife and family
