--- Quote from: FritzWhite on December 27, 2013, 05:53:00 PM ---I've considered going back and reprinting all my covers on good paper with the correct ink, but I don't want to spend the money. I still have less than a hundred NES and SNES games so if I were ever going to do it I guess now would be the time, but it just seems like a waste. What should I do with the old covers of lesser quality? Tossing them seems wasteful. I'll probably just leave it be and continue on with the same low quality cover look.

This makes me sad :(
I'd say toss all the old covers now. That'll light a fire under your arse to get them reprinted in better quality ;)

Well, it's just a 1st world problem so it's cool. It's not like it affects my health or something. I think you guys are right. I will probably reprint in high quality someday, but first I need to get a good paper cutter and quit using scissors :P

Does anyone know if this an ok option for replacement ink or is it better to pony up the dough for the 1st party ink cartridges? Prefer to spend less on this sort of thing, but only if good quality. Thanks

Blumpkin:
I've tried non OEM ink and refilled ink. Neither of them worked at all with my HP inkjet.

MY experience with non 1st party ink has been bad. Im not usually one to hate on off brands, but I got so many more prints out of the 1st party ones andI had a refilled cartridge leek the ink out into the inside of printer ruining it ( that was 10 years ago, i really hope issues like that have been corrected.)

Yeah, I'm not going to bother with the offbrand stuff. I'll stick to HP brand from now on. Thanks for info.
