Just quickly glancing at it, it looks pretty good. I'll have to compare it up against the scan. If it passes, I'll get it up tomorrow. |

--- Quote from: banisher on January 07, 2016, 03:06:46 PM ---I think we should keep it to the retail box as much as possible. --- End quote --- On that I agree. But quality of screenshots is sub-par. Remember our site is quality over quantity. ;) --- Quote from: banisher on January 07, 2016, 03:06:46 PM ---Arseen, if the screenshots bug you, can you supply the screenshots that look exactly the same. Thanks. --- End quote --- Unfortunately I don't have time to play the game. But I think those screen shots should be easy enough to build from parts if someone would play the game and take bunch of screencaptures from suitable points. |

--- Quote from: banisher on January 07, 2016, 03:33:59 PM ---Agreed, but I think we should have something vs nothing. Just my thought. --- End quote --- We don't use the something vs. nothing ideology on TCP. However, it's acceptable to use screenshots from a scan as long as the scan is 300 dpi or better. Capturing screenshots looks 100 times better but... Good lord, it takes time. Back in the day, many of the screenshots used to make the original covers where taken with a regular camera right off a monitor. The screenshots on Lethal Enforcers look horrible but unfortunately that's retail. I'll examine the cover tomorrow. If the screenshots don't meet site standards, I'll replace them. I've done it before with some of the covers I've posted. |

Let's say we get 98% quality cover, but what the heck that's close to 100, so it gets approved. Then we get 97% cover. well it's only 1 point lower. Then 95% cover... well only 2 points lower than previous. Soon we have sub-90% covers getting approved as they are only minorly worse than 92%, which is only bit lower than 94%... and so the downhill starts... ;) |
