Hello.  I'm new to the site.

I have been slowly casing all of my games using the covers off this awesome site.  I was wondering how you make covers for your custom made double wide UGCs.  For example, the SNES Game Genie will not fit in a normal UGC.  However, if I make a custom double wide UGC, the cover on this website will not fit since it is sized for a normal UGC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Wiggy made a cover for the Game Genie. You can use his cover to measure, modify and possibly make your own template. .

Well technically it fit CAN fit in a normal ugc  ;)

Anyone else hate the shape of the cart for the SNES Game Genie?  I have a solution!

My newest project that i wanted to work on for years!  I picked up some spare $1 SNES sports game for the sole purpose of doing mods with them.  I've always hated the way the Game Genie is shaped on the Super Nintendo.

I gutted out the inside of an snes shell and managed to secure the Game Genie inside of one of the game shells.  It wasn't the craziest of mods but it was very time consuming and I think the time was well spent. Here are my results.  ;D

Fits in the UGC with no bulge whatsoever!

All together & comparison of old shell vs new snes game shell

Cart only, its pretty damn slick  :)

What it looks like when you put a game in my new Game Genie

Proof that it all still works. I made a spot for the switch and lite of the front of the cart.

Considering how touchy the GG connection is anyway, it would terrify me to have that sticking out of my system  :(

It does look pretty neat though.

I had 2 of them and one of the hinges was broke so i figured what the hell.  I haven't had any problems with it shorting out or resetting yet.

I just mean how finicky they are.  As in, you breath the wrong way and the game freezes up.  You know, the more connections you add to the mix, the greater the chance of one failing.  That's all :)

I know there have been plenty of times where I was playing an RPG or something else intense and trying to cheat my exp or $$$ up and had the damned thing freeze up, which can be infuriating, obviously.

I can totally understand the desire to mod one if you have an extra.  Where do you think my FX compatible GG came from? ;)
