nice chrono trigger pick up... i was able to trade a sports game for my copy of chrono tigger about 10 years ago because the school i was at a break room with a TV and video games and when i saw chrono trigger i told them its a 1 player game and i would be willing to trade a few 2 player games for it. and one of the staff told me just to swap it 1 for 1 so that night i picked up a cheap $2 sport game and got chrono tigger

I've never played before so I'm def looking forward to it. Nice trade indeed.
if your looking to get into chrono tigger pick it on the DS because its the same game as the PSX remake but without all the load times.

Is the PSX version better? I have that DS version, but I've been waiting to play it on SNES first because I usually play in 'chrono' order :P

I've heard so many great things I'm really curious to try.

In a word, no.  If you've got it on the SNES and DS, then you absolutely do not need to bother with the PSX version.

Oh, I thought the DS version IS the PSX version but without the load times. I'll probably just play snes first..

Club Nintendo Platinum reward

Got mine in the mail today too. Merry Christmas from Club Nintendo. Now to decide if I want to open it or not.

I left it sealed, just like the Zelda OOT one I got from them a few years ago.

Here is my X-mas haul.  Not much in terms of gaming but some awesome stuff.

This is what the girlfriend got me.
A wall mounted rack for all my hats.  ( I already owned the hats)

A stand for my razor and brush, and a new dish for mixing lather. ( I already owned the brush and razor.)

Nice Seahawks hoodie.  Its a little big so we are going to exchange for a smaller size.

Katy Perry's new CD.  So what if im almost 30 and think she is fucking amazing.  Haters GTFO!!!! ( I own all her CD's and her movie)

This cool ass book.  I really like it!

The next items are from my parents.
Super warm and heavy flannel pants.  Best part is they are Seahawks colors!

4 mags for my Glock, a pen stun gun (300,000 volts), and a SOG brand knife. (My dad likes to give weapons and dangerous items.  Its always cool.)

I wouldn't say I hate the music, it's okay I guess.

She's hot though.

  • Living for the Classics!
Didn't get a whole lot in terms of games for X-Mas this year, but here's what I got:

- Double Dragon CIB MVS Kit: My first CIB MVS game thanks to my awesome girlfriend!
- Super Mario 3D World: From my parents. Most fun I've had with a Mario game in a while. Really enjoying this one!
- Duck Tales Remastered: From my girlfriends mom! Apparently when she went in to the store asking about it, the girl helping her said "Are you sure he wants this? It's a kids game..." with some kind of smart ass "Are you serious?" look on her face. Pffff, what do you know you snobby bitch! Duck Tales is a classic released a good few years before the kids of today, that most of them probably wouldn't appreciate anyway! ;)

I wouldn't doubt its more common in the lower mid USA. Southerners love their guns. Not saying nobody else in the US would possibly give/receive ammo/guns or appreciate either of them, but it does seem much MUCH more appreciated down south.

Hell ya! My uncle got a new Ruger .380 and a box of shells for Christmas. I got a .38 special +P for my birthday and some ammo. It's pretty common here in Missouri. Almost everyone I know has or is wanting to get their concealed carry.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!
