Agreed, It's Tetris Attack from the SNES but with Pokemon characters.

So I just happened to be walking in Target, when I just looked down on a shelf and saw this...I had entirely planned to wait until next year, but I love me some Xbox 360 and couldn't pass this up.  They had a PS4 too, but I think a kid was trying to get the lady to unlock that for him.

Was going to wait till the end of december, but its been a busy couple weeks so far
been loving the MVS machine, and playing it everyday so ill start with that:
the new games I traded some aes games + some game boy games for at a local store (7 more otw from ebay)

Made a shelf on top to store the carts:15$ in parts

with a little red folder to store dip switch info and mini marques  10cents

Did a little painting on spare systems:

Found a nice Complete game at V-Stock while picking up cords for re-selling my painted stuff (just to get free practice on painting) 10$

To my surprise the best thing in the box wasnt Yoshi Safari

Today I pickup up a PS1 system (in a Ps2 box with all paperwork for a ps2) with these games for 25$

And FREE with my amazon Credit card reward points: would have been 35$

Awaiting arrival of these mvs games:
Top hunter
metal slug 2
KoF 94
street hoops
super sidekicks 3
samurai showdown 3
Puzzle Bobble

The Best Buy near me still had Day One units sitting around.  This go around it seems like the newest consoles aren't at all hard to find.

And yet they are sold on ebay with ridiculous prices :D

So just out of curiosity, I went back to Target.  They had ANOTHER Xbox One on the shelf.  I was told I had the last one.  Now it's possible that they just got a truck of stock in the few hours in between (or just found one, maybe a cancelled hold), or they're deliberately only putting one or two out at a time.  Maybe to prevent people from buying in bulk.  I don't know.

I'd probably tackle a day one unit if I saw it.  Either to never open and keep, or to sell in a few years.  If just the box commands $100 on ebay, the whole thing will have to have some collectible value soon.

Starting up your MVS collection I see? It's so hard not to buy games for an MVS once you have one. I got my 4 slot in September and I'm already at 22 games now! Blazing Star is the newest one I'm waiting on right now!

I could be wrong, but any chance you got that Puzzled, and Panic Bomber from coinopstore on ebay? I bought a few carts from him a little while ago, all with generic labels like yours (but for a good price). I just rebuilt myself exact labels of the originals and printed them out on label paper. Turned out perfect!

There's a before and after of Shock Troopers 2nd Squad to compare with an original label of KOF 99' above it.

Anyway, if your interested in replacing those crap labels, or even that Japanese KOF 97 for an English one, let me know and I can throw a few replacement labels together for you! Should only take a few minutes.

I seriously doubt that they'll hold any value. But time will tell...

Mine are from a local shop, All my labels are fine as is. I try to avoid altering games as much as possible. I might add a english label to KoF 96, but only if I can find an easy way to keep the original label intact for when I go to sell it.

I'M 100% with Wiggy there. Those "newer" consoles will never have any collectible value. After all in a few months the market will be swamped with them.

I picked up this lot yesterday (was a bit epxensive (250) but definitely worth it as there are some quality titles in there I still need), not pictured is MD2 with hookups and three controllers - one six button:

Some of my other newest pickups (partially from a retro fair I attended as a vendor - Retrobörse Wien 2014):

It's incredible how cheap you get US stuff here in the EU sometimes (for example Dragon Slayer and wonder Boy for the Turbo for 15 Euro each)

Darius Twin I got new from a stock out sale for 15 Euro (couldn't believe how much that game commands on Ebay atm):

2 + 3 = 23
