I've seen the CD marker removal tutorial posted here way back, but I recently got a copy of Crono Trigger that has the previous owner's initials on it and I want them gone. They appear to be written with permanant marker. What do I need to be able to remove it without corroding or damaging the plastic shell?

test this with something else of the same texture first (something that pretty close to the plastic shell).
95% of the time when i try to remove permenent marker use a Dry Erase marker. Just trace over the permenent marker with the Dry Erase Marker and wipe clean.
should work for you, i use that method for DVD cases & NES games. :)

I hope it wasn't the one that sold for 1k on ebay lol. Seriously the fact that so many websites carried that story probably doubled the price of any copy of Chrono Trigger, sealed or unsealed. I wish I had purchased it earlier now. :(
