I can't find this cover anywhere and I'd love to use it for my burgeoning collection. Would anyone be able to help me? It's the one NES game I have that I can't find a cover for....

This was quickly slapped together with no attempt at perfection. It's just a placeholder.

Dude, are you serious?

That looks fantastic to me. I'm not a perfectionist and I can use that. What's wrong with it anyway?

The members of the cover project have high standards. They tend to look at a cover under a microscope and point out imperfections. So, knowing that there's some differences from the original cover (Data East logo, screenshots), it's easier to just say it's a placeholder and hope that gamers like yourself are happy with it.

It may be consider just a place holder, however it's another cover we seriously needed here, thank you Segamer.

So do covers like these not get moved to the library because they are slightly different from the retail or are there other reasons? I did compare this with an original box that I have and I did notice that the screenshots are different and the Data East logo has the trademark colors instead of the solid black and solid white from the original, but it still looks very good and would seem to be better than what's currently in the library (nothing). Just a curiosity, if someone could enlighten me I'd appreciate it. Nice work, segamer.

  • I have no label. Maybe I'm not a gamer at all?

Nothing goes for quality checking unless it is submitted to the site with the upload cover button.

I don't think segamer ever submitted this cover.  At the time he was a little frustrated with the qc guidelines.  I think that's the polite way to put it, eh segamer?  ;D ;)

This was just a placeholder. I didn't submit it because I know it doesn't meet site standards. The site does have strict policies about cover quality. However, hopefully it's the highest quality placeholder you've ever seen.

As it's the only one one I've ever seen for the game: Yes it's the highest quality. ;)

And it's very good.
