I went ahead and backed it, because it looks pretty fun. Hope it gets its goal. Just wish they had a physical Ps4 disc version. |

Poi recent email: ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Many of you have been asking the big question though: Q: What happens if Poi doesn't reach its goal in 9 days? A: The honest answer is that we won't be able to finish Poi as we originally intended. We would not be able to pay for custom art and animations to make the game look better, and we would not be able to pay for the custom soundtrack that Poi deserves. We would also have to return our Wii U development hardware. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Man I feel bad for these guys |

So I'm not sure if anyone's been following that game GRIP at all, but their kickstarter just closed. Apparently they felt that there was no way they'd reach their goal and instead are releasing the game via Early Access (not sure if PS4 version is totally dead or just postponed or something). That's somewhat disappointing. Especially since that means the non-DRM physical copies are a no-go. |

It seems recently game Kickstarters are not doing so well. Guess once the big boys stepped in, it completely broke the market for indies. |
