I'm a big fan of gaming related books, so this one is interesting to me.  I think at the very least I will back for the Zelda book, but I might consider the collector's editions.

I got the first season books, haven't read through them yet, but what little I did read was very insightful.  Can't be "collecting" these books given how pricey they are, but I did back for all 3 books.
<-- If anything I have is checked as "Case/Box", I will scan it if you ask nicely... I'm pretty slow about getting things done though.  Laziness.

I didn't have time to read through everything yesterday.  Do they go into more detail as to the difference between the "standard" and "collectors" editions?  That's what I want to know before I decide which level I want to back.  I'm pretty sure I will at the very least back one book, but I might back all 3 in the collector's edition depending on what the difference is.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Standard books

Collector books w/o sleeves

The sleeves for the collector's books features what the standard books look like.

No other differences, I believe... maybe they have built in bookmarks, I don't know for sure.. Definitely appears to come with a lithograph.

Ok, so it's really just a cover variant, and the CE will potentially have a special slip cover if the stretch goal is met.  Honestly, I might just go with the standard edition and save some money.  I still have to decide on 2 or 3 books.  I'm not really interested in the Dark Souls book, but if the big stretch goal for the 4th book hits, I would probably want the 3 book set to replace Dark Souls with the 4th book.

Dust jacket and lithograph for the collector's edition books have already been met as stretch goals.

I've not played Nier: Automata yet and I liked Nier well enough, but not enough that I'd care to read lore.

For the Transparent colored controllers from RetroFighters, the "plug ends" are going to be grey.

I will be dissembling some of my controllers and making a fake account, donating $1, posting the pictures on the comments showing what it will look like, and retracting my $1.

This company man.... sure the controllers are probably awesome, but they are so... feck'n.... cheap....

They are just plain ridiculous.  I'm just gonna get a hori pad at some point and call it a day.

Big fan as well. I bought pretty much all books that Pix n' Love published (french editor), Third edition is a spin off of them.
I have the FF books (VI to XII) since many years (in french). It's nice to see that they are translating their books. Some are hidden gems, some where even limited editions impossible to find today.

What about iBand+? Anyone hear of that? It's on Kickstarter and another crowd funding site. It's supposed to be some kind of device that let's you control your dreams. Talk about VR! I'm both excited and terrified of this. Mostly excited! Because I want to fly and ride on dinosaurs. When I get bored of.... other stuff. Anyone else have an opinion on this device?

The dust covers are kind of ugly.  I wouldn’t want them if they game them away.

Meh. They offer a really cool product at a really great price.

No other colored controllers had matching plugs iirc.

I don’t even particularly care about the master system, but I’ll probably still buy that book.  Bitmap’s books are lovely.
