BTW I am "Aaron Tracy". I think I backed and revoked my pledge a few times to leave comments because people were definitely confused about it.
This is exactly why I revoked my pledge before the end. I knew it was going to be a shit show. They raised a shit ton of money, gave only 2 stretch goals, implying, imo, that there would be at least 4 additional colors with at least 1 or 2 colors being limited.
I am bothered by them giving up on the transfer pak compatibility as well, because that's something I would take advantage of. Will that stop me from buying one down the line, no, but it's annoying. When they go to market in like 6 months, I might buy the purple one.
But... if you want to float one of those codes my way, I wouldn't say no. :p
EDIT:

@Craig. Literally backed $1 to put this comment and am going to cancel my $1 after I make this post.lol
Yes, if you back for $80 you get 4x Grey controllers + 4 discount codes to get colored controllers down the line at the same $20 price point.
I definitely want a controller, but I'd like to choose what color I want, if I have to pay an extra $10 down the line just so I get my pick of what's available instead of being pigeonholed into grey, I'll wait and pay a little more.

Double Edit: Oh shit, sounds like you can't even sell the code.

@Aaron Tracy, Craig Shaffer if you back the goal at $20 you will get one gray controller + one discount code for one color controller. If you back $80 you will get four gray controllers + one code for a discount on four color controllers.

Sounds like you get 1 discount code good for up to 4 controllers.

Bwahahahaha, I should have just posted over here sooner! Would have saved you that $1! ::)
The whole Transfer Pak fiasco now is pissing me off like you wouldn't believe. I didn't support a "half-assed" controller. And everyone replying to me saying "well this sucks" is vitually telling me to kill myself as who gives a feck (I just watched all of Call Me Kevin's Harry Potter playthroughs and knowing that I swear a lot, feck is just hilarious to say).
They tell us that the Transfer Pak is working in August, when they know it isn't
4 months pass, they decide "shit, we can't get this to work, might as well tell the people..."
So they tell us... and assure us the reason they won't fix it is because, well, we need to release this controller!
They refuse to allow some of us to wait the 90+ days it would take to possibly fix the problem, which means that they are completely dropping the functionality and will not take the time to fix it.
With the lack of content in their updates, let alone the admins comments, it seems they have just been twittling their thumbs since September, not doing anything.
They already had a working controller in August. What did they do in 6 months? Add an Octagonal restrictor plate to the thumbstick back 4 months ago?
I am not saying I am ignorant to DEV/ASM/TST/STG/PROD timelines, but... they had a product already...
And for Feck sake... the more colors they offer, the more people will purchase, so where is the logic in not having a variation of colors?
As for the 1x code for the "colored" controller, that disappointment doesn't even bother me at this point. Just add it to the list of things they feck'd up

I cancelled my pledge, so they didn't even get my dollar.
I'm trying to be weary of KS campaigns now because almost always, you'd pay the same or less waiting.
Admittedly, the only place I can find the RF NES/PC controller is on Thinkgeek for $20, but I'm betting if I wait long enough I can get my colored controller for $20 or near it.
There are not many KS I backed that I'm happy with... actually... looking at it... I only regret maybe 5 of them. 5/32 ain't that bad. But quite a few still haven't fulfilled, so they have time to disappoint.
TDIRunner:
That's a lot of backed Kickstarter projects.
I've only backed 7 myself. So far, I've received 4 out of my 7 backed projects and if these controllers come out later this month I will be at 5 out of 7 with the two remaining projects both being games that are way behind schedule. So far I've been pretty lucky in that the only issues have been that all projects took longer than expected, which honestly, I expected that to happen anyway.
So far the projects that have benefited me the most were the Blinking Light Win and the HDRetrovision component cables. I was able to get those much quicker and cheaper than non backers, so I rank those as my favorites so far.
One thing I doubt I will ever do again is back a game. It's nothing against the specific developers I'm currently waiting on, it's just that the more I think about it, the more I feel that backing games is a bad idea, and the carries the highest risk any of the projects I've supported.

I think the majority of the things I've backed have been functional goods, books, or board games. Sure there are a few video games in there... and those are largely the ones I regret... if anybody wants to buy a download code for Friday the 13th (PS4) let me know ;)
If a video game is going to have a physical release, I'll consider it, but like Bloodstained, I could've waited and I'd get it from BB/Amazon with GCU/Prime for cheaper. *shrug*
I'm backing 40 winks for the CE, because I'm sure it will include the controller, which is nice, and I'm so close to a full N64 set that I feel like I'd be doing myself a great injustice passing on this game.
