Will be down IF it hits consoles and IF it gets physical release. Looks great, but their packages are total weak sauce, with things like "high-res digital map" and "digital art book".  Gotta spend $125 before you get a physical anything

Apparently Sam Dyer is still working on the NES compendium. I'm glad that he is still tryin to jump through the hoops. Hope he doesn't give up.

NES compendium intellectual property dispute has been settled and the book is still being made!  Updated wording on the bottom of the kickstarter page (which has been given 24 hours to collect more funds).  So if anyone is interested again, go check it out.

yeah i'm glad it's going through. i'd love a nice big book of retro games pics, etc...  kinda disappointed after getting the retro magazine collector's edition vol. 1 and it turned out to be the size of a reader's digest with practically unreadable font size.

My bank is NOT letting me pay for the NES Compendium I backed. Thier excuse is the UK is a high fraud area so they have it blocked to where I cannot pay.
I don't have a personal credit card either.

Is anyone else having  a problem with this? If so how did you get around it?

I can understand them blocking it as a precaution, but I'm surprised they won't allow the payment if you give them the ok to do so.

PayPal doesn't allow for pre-orders, which I'm willing to bet is how they would treat Kisckstarter projects.
