I do enjoy having the physical copy of a game better then the digital, but recently digital has become more practical at times. for instance, me and my girlfriend both have playstation 3's and I will download a game, and my account is also on her playstation so we can both play the same game, at the same time, even though I paid for it once.

Similar situation with xbox live. I've bought tons of dlc content on xbox live marketplace over the years. The fact that neither Sony or MS brings any of your old content over to the new systems irks me to no end. They'll continue selling a lot of the same old content on the new gen consoles, but you'd be required to repurchase it if you want to play it on the next gen even though you already bought the same thing from the same company on the old platform.

I think that's dumb so I never, ever buy digital content anymore. No matter what!

you can buy crossgen ps3 games on PSN, then pay 10 dollars more to upgrade them and also have the PS4 verision.

I agree in principal - but I do buy stuff when there is no physical form available.

Both flower and flow were free on ps4 as I had previously bought the ps3 versions.
