NES Controller Case?

YES!!!  The nes max is my favorite controller especially for contra mega man and metroid. Bought a lot of 8 on ebay and sold half of them an going to keep the rest so im glad and thankful for the cover!!!!!!

I got too excited and printed a NES Max cover right away. Only when I went to case the controller I found out that the new UGC's aren't thick enough for the Max.

I hollowed out a UGC and the max controller fit with no buldging

It's all about the cord positioning as the NES connector should be in the middle of the rolled up wire. You have to hollow out the entire inside of the UGC first (including the two long thin tabs at the top and bottom) for it to fit properly, though.

What change on the new ugc from old?
When did they changed them?

If you could post some pics of the controlle. In the ugc it would be easier to understand

Thanks. I was able to make it fit after cutting out the rest of the UGC guts. A little bulgy, but without using wire ties it works for me.

@e_brugal, the change is so small that you won't notice just by looking at them. But the spines are just a hair smaller now from my understanding.

i used old vhs boxed for controller and cables in general, instead of using UGC

That looks nice. But the hard (time consuming) part is getting the cord all coiled up perfectly.

I just wrapped it around my four fingers and put a rubber band on it. Nothing special, took 15 seconds
