Sometimes I can't stand the hypocrisy and double standards of this website.

 ???

I would say the scans need some color correction. But I do not see that much wrong with the cover, if that is what you are referring too.

I couldn't do much more without completely washing out the pics and loosing any definition

First off, I believe in having good placeholder when a cover has yet to be made or until a cover that meets site standards is made. However, what bugs me is that some cover admins only spend the time to post their own work and then their own work doesn't meet site standards. My work is created for the Cover Project with love but it's upsetting when Retrogamecases is using my covers but not the cover project.

What on the cover doesn't meet site standards? The screenshots? I'm sorry but replacing all of the screenshots is not something everyone can do and would be the most time-consuming part of the process, nor do I think it;s necessary unless the screens on the cover are to damaged to fix.

If that is the case, I will never post another NES cover again and you guys can just sit here and circle jerk to the three or four covers that may come about.

I guess it takes less time to add a cover he made vs. a cover someone else made because he does not have to look it over and fix small things or what not, I'm not sure how long it takes to add a cover to the archive, but I would assume not much. To shift through the big pile of uploaded covers, and check through every single one for accuracy, takes much longer. Some of your covers are in the archives.
That reminds me . . .

This works fine, why is it in the broken file section?

On the quality part, I think that one, minus the color being slightly off, looks fine.

Some of the SNES ones you made could use a bit of a tune up, I did some fixes to you Taz Mania cover. Mostly With the SNES logo and Seals, the Contrast and moire and needed a bit of fixing too, and the copyright info looks to be in the wrong place compared to images from GameFAQ, I did not fix that in my cover.

Others look fine, minus Seal and SNES Grey Logo. I can give you better quality Seal Of Quality and Grey Box if you want it.

I havent been here for long, but i have also noticed the fact that there is something wrong with either the admins, the standards or the policy. People like Segamer and Coelho etc. are putting alot of work in doing covers AND they are sometimes 100x better than the current ones. if the standards are so high, why are the poor quality ones still kept in the open ???. I think people would like better quality over some minor label differences etc.

I for one think that even a slight update on a cover is a good reason to update it in the collection for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for your input. Always a good idea to get on the Cover Admin's case inside your first 20 posts...

True but is disapointing when some of the cover makers here are waiting months without seeing their covers beeing uploaded and admis upload theirs faster.

one example is that one admin had a request one day and next day the cover was made, uploaded to the site and link posted to the person that requested that cover, and he say " i just made this cover and uploaded to the site", i don't think is good to others see how their covers are "forget" even though the covers are good, while admins covers are uploaded in a day. not complaining on the quality of each cover is the way you upload your covers vs other people covers.

i had told this because i knew this one day would be a problem, not to me because i don't make covers but to all of those people that make them, made my opinion via PM because i thought that way would be less caotic
