Locking this topic for just tiny bit.

Opened the NES topic again, just needed to separate this stuff from that topic.

Good move. Now we can have another thread about the same old shit! These are getting to be about as useful as the eBay case seller threads.

Some covers just don't scan well.  It looks like moire/grain, but it's to do with the print quality on the original paper.  I think that concessions on our usual standards should be made on those covers, otherwise we'll never have a cover for it hosted.

I also think that shit covers should be replaced with less shit covers, even if they aren't perfect.

I don't think dity unfinished covers should be hosted if we don't already have shit in the database for it.

Lastly I don't think that people who aren't involved in the quality process should mouth off about it (I don't include talented artists in this - they DO have a say in the quality).

New admins (I say new,......) still don't have access to the upload queue,  so it's still a bit of a 2 man  band adding covers,  which is why there is still a huge backlog, and admins usually add their own covers first.    I would put money on the fact that a lot of segments and coelho's cover will be added,  but I would also wager that many won't.  If you want a site where everything is upped and hosted regardless, then off you trot to covergalaxy or cdcover.cc -  if you came here for , and enjoy the quality of the covers, shut the fuck up about everything not being added, and be patient.

Yep, but once I bother to find one of the other topics relating to this I can merge them.

And once next pops up I or some other mod can merge it the mega topic and so on.

Main thing is that this stuff does not mess other topics, and deleting this outright would be impolite and would cause more trouble.
