I need some help with printing these UGC covers (did it wrong at Office Max)

I have Canon MP190.

It was 40 Euros new.

But I think any inkjet will be good enough, paper is more important.

So should I use something better than matte legal?

Would this Epson 2000 printer be overkill on a project like this (i.e. I can get a printer that will do a great job of these covers for far less money)

Semi-gloss photo paper would be good.
Just hard get in legal size, and ordering A4 from Europe would be expensive.

Quick check including postage from Finland to USA:

Assuming I remember correctly 100 sheets is 15 Euros at my local store.

Reasonable patch: 400 sheets 105 Euros,

Cheapest bulk: 2500 sheets would be 511 Euros (or maybe 2600 sheets 526 Euros as long as weight stays under 30 kilos).

I might get price of paper down a bit as my sisters friend works there.

For just covers that is over kill.
And I don't trust Epsons.

Sure would be great if I had a color printer but I don't and I'm struggling with whether I should get one just to help with this cover project....

Does anyone have a suggestion for what kind of printer would be good for this project? Like a specific type of Canon printer (or epson). I know nothing about printer quality.
