Not a pickup per say... but i did pickups the mats for it last month! Just got done making it!

Now, I'm gonna have to make one for all the wife's books! Then I'm gonna make one just like this but with a big spot in the middle for a new TV and some place to add a blu-ray and a console and some other place for speakers! Then my gaming place will be done, just gonna have to keep filling it with games and new consoles!

I'm gonna have some pick ups picture this Friday though, just got a call from game store that my ps4 will be there with the games and all! So see you this Friday pick ups post!

Now to go and fill it up and clean everything....urghhh

How much did that set you back for the materials? Looks like an awesome shelf. I'd have to build one when I get my own place.

For everything, wood, metal angle and screws...around 200-250$ wood was like 100$ish and angles were 11$ per...so i bought 10 that were 10 feet long. add screws and canadian taxes...around 250$.

The main part of the shelves are 8 1/2 inches high and 9 feets long, the biggest part is 11 3/4 high and 63 inches long...while the small part above the heating is 6 inches by 3 feet long.

Good lord. that's over $400 American. We don't even have basic WiiU systems here now. They were sold off and/or recalled so there would only be 32GB models.

Sweet cake bud. When I got married it as pretty low budget and short notice so nothing super cool for me. I wasn't collecting then though either.

Man, feels like it's been forever since I've posted over here. Haven't really been buying much lately and I've been busy. On the plus side, my Macbook Pro is paid off so I've had a bit more spending money and the end of this month is gonna be fun with an Xbox One and several games coming in. However I wanted to upgrade my audio system a bit before I got my Xbox One so I took a trip to Best Buy this afternoon and picked up this Harman/Kardon AVR 1710 Receiver. Sounds amazing and blows the Samsung I had out of the water. Will definitely say, it is hard to listen to anything on my tv without surround sound anymore after having it for several years. Don't know how people live without it.

I got some cheep $60 surround system in my room, that converts Stereo to Surround. I think It's not a 5.1 or whatever, but most of my things are only stereo, and it works well to surround yourself with the audio.
I had it for years and it works well still.

I may upgrade sometime soon, How much was the one you got?

Well the receiver in particular was $380 after tax. My two front speakers cost $60, where as my center channel was $10 at a yard sale and my two surrounds were $5 each. The back surround were old polks that cost me $60 at one time too. A bit of an investment but well worth it for me.

yeah, once again, we can all notice how absurd is the videogame market in Brazil. ...well, at least, I got cheaper between the other stores' prices...even if that the price be very higher than the rest of the countries (as usual). :\/
