@wiggy that's Fami to NES right? I might buy one of those from you too.  How much for the polished/sanded/painted one?

It's just a case for the adapter found in some NES Black Box games, Not the adapter itself.

@Wiggy
Depends on how much more the cleaned up costs.
I'll PM you when you get it.
I'll probably shoot you one right now.
Spoonman:
Oh I see.  That's still a nifty way to make yourself an adapter to play Famicom on NES if you have a top loader.

I just read wiggy's post about the early releases of NES games... is there a way to tell if a cart has that adapter in it without opening it first? Would only be a black label/black box game right?  I'm guessing one way is it would be a 5 screw instead of 3 (no tabs).

It took me about a year but I eventually found 1 in the wild by identifying it based off the cart type and pin location.  Then about 2 weeks later, I found another one.  Since then, I have spotted a few more and have can even tell based off weight now.  They have ALL been Gyromite copies in my experience as they are the easiest to find and most people (and game shops) don't know to check for them.

Great tips.  Thank you!  ;D
