I can't see a reason to own a PS4 yet (lack of games) an refuse to buy the Xbox based on Microsoft's very poor choices regarding their hardware pack-ins (kinect) and insane DRM. I know I'll eventually own both for myself, but for now I largely agree with Palmer. Way more headache than it's worth, which says a LOT because I'm both a huge Forza & Killer Instinct fan. I'm more than willing to pass on those titles if it means taking a stand against a company's foolish decisions. |

I'm not sure this thread is the right place to rant. It's just a thread to post video games one has acquired. I didn't mean to cause post dramatic stress syndrome or pull up repressed video game memories. I enjoy vintage games too. That's why I collect them. I also enjoy new games. The good thing is that no one is making you buy them. @sheep2001 Yes, I am far from a fanboy. I'm a fan of all games, I don't care which console they are on. I haven't had my Xbox One more than 10 hours but I found myself a little more impressed with the PS4 hardware. PS4 is light, elegant... smaller... Xbox One is a mammoth. It's heavy, ugly. The controllers are nice for both systems. On the other hand, I like the launch line up of games better on Xbox One. I'd rather have Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct 3, Crimson Dragon and Forza 5 over Kill Zone and Knack. At this point, it's a waiting game as to which comes out with the better exclusives. I would likely recommend the PS4 over Xbox One due to the price as they will ultimately have the same third party content and at the moment, PS4 is running third party content better. That opinion will likely change as developers figure out the hardware. |

I am definitely a little jealous about the Xbox Ones...but there just wasn't a decent enough game library to justify the purchase right now. Maybe when Halo or something else drops my hand will be forced. Until then... Got my 3DS XL Zelda and IT. IS. GLORIOUS! (props if you get that reference) I preordered from Best Buy, but since they don't price match Online orders, I had to pay the $220. Went to Walmart next door, found one on shelf and paid $199. I also grabbed a physical copy of the game from a local gamestore and used trade in credit, so this one was free. I plan to sell the online code for about $25 (higher if people bid but I just want it sold, so I don't care about making top dollar. I also plan to return the Best Buy console, but AFTER the online preorder code for Oracle has been redeemed. I looked into this, and it doesn't discount the code from the return price. And yes, this may be a shady tactic, but not price matching online orders, even when I pick up in store is bull. |

Picked up the Day One Edition for my brother in law. But for a good few hours it was in my possession lol Also picked up LOZ: A link between two worlds and got the preorder code for Oracle of Seasons...but since I bought both oracle games when they released this code is useless to me :( |
| Blumpkin:
Man, those LoZ 3DS systems are even prettier then advertised. I'm jealous. But my red 3DS XL has a Spider-man sticker on it. So yeah. Take that. :P |
