CD case dimensions

Hey guys, I am going to print out retail covers for my Dreamcast and Playstation 1 games. I will be casing the games in the retail cases that they originally came in (Clear cd cases). To print them out so that they are as close to retail as possible, I will be printing the front, inlay, and back covers. My question to all of you:

What are the printing dimensions for each: front, inlay, and back covers? I have read the forums, viewed examples on the site, and have searched the internet only to find differing sizes. I will be printing the covers using GIMP.

I would attempt a few trial prints but I'd rather not waste the ink.

i don't entirely trust all the measurements i see online. just pick up a ruler and try it on a retail release.

Just measure any CD insert. They're all the same.

I have bought games, they just don't have covers. I do have cd inserts that I can measure, I was just hoping that someone has done this before and has the exact printing sizes. I know I can convert the size if my image in Gimp to inches, so I'll probably end up measuring an insert and going from there. Thanks for the advice guys.

Front: 1429 x 1429
Back: 1771 x 1392

Shenske - Thank you for the dimensions, I'll try those sizes first when I begin printing the covers.
