Just picked up mine and uploaded my code on the bay.

Best Buy put a big sticker on my units box.  So I should have went with wal-mart.  I guess I never noticed them doing it with games as they are always covered in plastic wrap.

Update: I finally sold my code on ebay. I was starting to think it was never going to sell. Also I was able to get that sticker off.  It just took a long time at careful pulling. Thought about using goo-gone but feared it would leave those ugly grease spots, so I didnt.

Was able to pick up The Last Of Us with the money

I sold mine for the same amount about 11 days ago.  The market is flooded right now, I'm sure.  Lots of people selling codes and a limited number of people who want a DLC version of the game.  If it doesn't sell, maybe sit on it until after the holidays.  I've also seen the hard copy go on sale for some pretty good prices.

I did a buy it now with best offer.   I think the reason it took so long to sell. Other than the market being flooded with them was that ebay put the listing 30 days out.  I had to turn down alot of 18 dollars and lower offers.

Everyone selling their codes should serve as strong evidence that people still want physical copies of these games with their special edition consoles.  See that, Nintendo?  Yeah, we still want those carts, dammit!

Nintendo will probably make the argument the other way Wiggy :(

"See look at how many people were buying codes for the digital copy online!"
They'll also probably smirk as they sit back and watch most people buy the special edition console with it's digital copy turn around and also buy a physical copy of the game as well.
(I know I did that for both the Wii U bundle and the 3DS XL bundle)

I completely agree. I have ZERO desire for digital copies of any game. It either feels like a pirated copy to me or that i don't have any ownership of the game.

Truth be told, every single one of my purchases would be digital if that were the only way they were available, but as long as the physical format exists, I will continue to buy physical copies.

Shhhh, don't tell Nintendo!

Exactly this.  In fact, if it were digital only, I would be more likely to want hacked/cracked version without  restrictive DRM.  But as long as there is a physical version, that I actually have ownership of, and I can  put in any replacement console, then that's what I want!

there really isn't anything quite like owning a physical retail copy of the game. and correct me if im wrong, but say i lose my 3ds and my Wii u goes on the fritz. my understating is that Nintendo still hasn't made a way for you to re-download your games, am I right?

Same here. If/When it goes 100% DL only, then I will stop buying games.

I pretty much feel the same way. But I wouldn't stop buying games all together, but I'd seriously limit it down to just the few games that I'd still need to play (ex: Zelda!). But yeah, they go 100% DL and the modern gaming industry is losing a lot of profits from me.
