New Zelda 3DS XL Bundle

I think the Gold on the inside is a bit to flashy.
And my handhelds tend to get a bit beat up, I don't mind the Zelda Wii U, because it stays home, But I would be afraid to loose or damage it.

tell me about it. a few stores down by me have started to throw away all but one case to save on space. so if you want to buy a use game and there is more then 1 you get stuck with a cheap box with no box art

I've been strongly considering a 2DS. Is the 3D really worth it?

The 3D itself is not worth it, but the the 3DSxl has a larger screen than both the original 3DS and the 2DS. The extra screen size makes the 3DSxl worth it. The 2DS is pretty fucking ugly as well, so aesthetics are something to consider.

I think I'm the only person who actually prefers the original 3DS. The way the XL stretches the display is a turn-off for me, because something about it seems "off" to me. I don't think it's a perfect re-size; it looks like they got the ratio wrong or something. Does anyone actually understand what I'm trying to say?

Anyway, if I could have the console size of the XL with the screen size of the original 3DS (or at least a screen size that feels right) I'd be soooooo happy. The OOT 3DS I got (last year? Year before?) cramps my hands, I'm finding. I have large-ish hands, and like playing action-y stuff like Kingdom Hearts and Zelda, so it's some first-world-video-game-problems up in here.

All that said, I'd still get the new Zelda 3DS XL if I could afford it, and I'd use it over my original 3DS simply because it's more comfy. But it's not in the cards right now. My last acquisition from Wiggy was also my last big hurrah for a while until I can get a new job.

I say you should get it. Does the 3D bother you that much? There's a switch for that. I've grown to enjoy it, but I also accept that my experience is not typical.
