So it would seem that Gamestop leaked info that Nintendo will be releasing two new bundles for thre 3DS XL.  A Gold/Black Zelda model with the trifoce, and a bluish purple Luigi's Mansion unit.  Each console will come with the respective title.
It was a rumor, then a leak, then apparently confirmed.  More details to come I guess.
I already own a 3DS XL...but I cannot pass up that Zelda bundle.  *sigh* first the Zelda Wii U, then the Collector's edition windwaker, now an awesome looking 3DS XL with Link Between Worlds.  Dammit, Nintendo.  I have a wife.  A family.  Now I don't get to eat that week!  geez.  lol  Luckily I think my local game store offers $140 for trade in 3DS XL.  So this might be OK.

Here is one of the many articles I found:

I've been strongly considering a 2DS. Is the 3D really worth it?

Dang, and I just got my Red Pokemon 3ds...

I've been strongly considering a 2DS. Is the 3D really worth it?

To me that's a big, HELL NO...
I play all my games in 2D 99.9% of the time. When I switch it to 3D it just tends to hurt my eyes. Along with everything else that's 3D...

I like the 3DS XL layout.  It feels good in my hands and I like the unit overall.  I dont use the 3D very uch, but my problem with the 2DS is that the controls are next to the top screen, not the bottom.  I hate playing on a screen in between my hands.  I held one in my best buy.  Feels a little funny at first, but not too bad.  Kinda like a tablet.  Even has the dual camera.

Not sure about that one . . .
Not as nice as the WiiU.
I may get it, I was looking into 3DS XLs. It has the "Full game download" crap again.
I'll have to see a better picture of it.

I am totally interested in this as well. A shame the game is digital, though.

I have to disagree with larry. I think this looks way nicer than the Zelda themed Wii U game pad. I'll take a gold 3DS XL with a triforce on it over some simple gold edging and buttons on a normal Wii U pad any day. But to each their own.

The only reason I'd want one is to go along with my original Zelda 3DS. No other reason for me to get this one if there's no physical game.

Will be getting it even though I own the other Zelda 3DS. I have been wanting an XL for awhile now because long sessions on the regular 3DS crap my hands up due to its smaller size. Will sell the digital code for the game on ebay and pick up a physical copy of the game.

Just an FYI, I bought the 3DS XL with Mario Kart, and the game was preinstalled on the system, unlike the Wii U where it was a download.  So if your plan is to sell it, I'd hold off until it's clear whether it's a code or on the memory stick.

I am aware about the past bundles with the games being preinstalled, but I have hope it will be a code based off the Wii U Zelda bundle. I also am sure it is a code just based off of the ad, but it wouldn't be the first time an ad has been wrong. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayScans/GameStop/8 Under the Luigi's Mansion bundle it says "Preinstalled" while the Zelda bundle says "Full Game Download" which to me would suggest it being a code.

Regardless of the game being a code or preinstalled, I will be getting the bundle. :D

3DS XL + Circle Pad Pro

That's how I play, and that's how I'll keep playing, even if games don't support the function.

Love the way you have it in your hands with the CPP attached.

So apparently the UK got this confirmed a while ago and the unit can already be preordered on Nintendo's website here:

http://store.nintendo.co.uk/3ds-hardware/nintendo-3ds-xl-the-legend-of-zelda-a-link-between-worlds-limited-edition/10848361.html

two things...

ONE...according to this it's an actual game DOWNLOAD, which will be nice.

TWO...it says the system DOES NOT come with a game charger...um...why?  I have purchased numerous handhelds from nintendo, including a 3DS XL...why NOW do they decide to cheap out on a way to play the system?  Did I read this wrong?  Is this a UK thing?  while I already have a charger, my plan was to trade in my current XL and get a nice chunk of change to buy this.  But the trade requires the charger.
*sigh* nothing's ever easy

Unless you live in the UK, I'm not sure that I would worry too much about that. From what I've heard, Nintendo doesn't always include chargers with their handhelds in the UK. As far as I know, every iteration of the DS in NA has included a charger.

Is it possible they meant the charging dock? I know in NA the 3ds/3ds XL  no longer come with a charging dock.  Seems rather silly to sell an electronic device without a means to charge it.  Nintendo's not stupid.

I find it rather strange that's advertised as being a download when every other bundle that's come out has had the game pre-installed.
