Jag talar inte så mycket svenska, men jag förstår det. --- End quote --- Let's just settle on the fact that people think that all Scandies understand each other :P Jag talar ingen finska alls, bara svärord och mamma ;) --- End quote --- Okej. But don't we understand? I think pretty much all of Scandic youth speaks English pretty well nowadays. ;) |

i used to work for a Swedish company - had to go to Stockholm every month for management meetings. Other than "hej, hej" the only Swedish I learnt was this: Jag önskar att jag var en pingvin, glida på magen hela dagen. I used it as an icebreaker, opening a presentation about myself, and what my teams did in the UK. In front of senior management from US, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. The Swedes thought it was great - nobody else knew why they were laughing. ;D |

that is pretty random, i laughed at it =) people assume i speak finnish cuz my surname suggests it, but they refused to let me learn it as a third language so i'm limited to kiitos & ollos hyvää, kippis, yxi kaxi kolme nälje visi kusi seitseman kadeksan kymminen, maito, saatana perkele voi vittu & ei saa peitää. |

I love how the site has been growing to involve so many people from so many places, when I first started coming here I didn't even bother getting an account, because I figured that the site didn't have as a goal to become as internationally involving as it is today. Love it! |

Funny how swear words and words more or less relating to drinking were correct. 8) And yes I too assumed yopu were speaking Finnish when I approved you. If I knew you were Swedish, I don't know would I have approved... ;) |
