I was wondering if anybody else had any templates for custom nes dust sleeves like these.  I have templates and regularly use this awesome site for artwork.  I also have done custom ones for the gmes in my collection.  If you are interested in these just let me know and I can email them to ya :)

Here is a link to my 'How To' video I made for people who are new to photoshop or new to creating things with their hands in general.

I like the idea of custom dust covers but I do not like how so much important stuff gets cut off (part of the logo or half of Joker's face). I think you should go full custom rout and use wallpapers for the bottom and logos in the top left corner. If you want to use the original covers maybe you could find some way to get the whole thing on there and just have a border that is used for every game. I put one together very quickly (and crudely) as an example.

I like this one, maybe also have the NES logo at the top of the spine like the covers?

When I want the whole artwork to show I just use custom mini boxes I made instead of the dust sleeves.  The dust sleeves I make for my collection are mostly custom made artwork and not the original artwork itself.

I agree with Nacho3; I feel like using the cover art doesn't really work very well. Too much of the art gets cut off due to the shape of the dust covers. Something more abstract like in the style of Wiggy's covers would work better.

Yeah the first dust covers were ugly (actually seen those sold on ebay).
but the newer suggestions are quite good.

Someone's already trying to sell them on eBay?  tsk tsk tsk lol.  Sure as heck wasn't me, until I shared these on NintendoAge no templates where an exact fit. Just went and looked.  Sure enough, those are my templates.

I saw them few weeks ago, don't remember were the exact same ones, but identical idea.

I have given these templates out for about 9 months now.

All the one's in my collection are made with random art in more of an abstract style.  Although I do for the most part use the spine from the cover project because that is the point of the custom sleeves.  to be able to shelve the games standing up and seeing what the titles are.

I like them but he can make them for you anyway you want just ask him, he made mini boxes for me I'm sure I was a pain in the bottom about it but he did an awesome job.  As far as ebay it doesn't surprize me so many people offer to do cases on there for you up to about $10.99 and some even mod them to fit NES games but I have ordered some of the work from ebay and some of them do a good job others not so much but my favorite is the Bitbox cases of course you will pay a pretty price but pimp my games LOL
