Hey guys,

I was hoping someone could help me locate or modify the already existing cover of Disney's Aladdin for SNES. I'm looking for the custom vertical format. The one that is offered on the site has a purple logo on the spine (which is not the retail spine). The retail spine is golden lettering and in my opinion looks much better than the purple logo.

Zeanhaven has this cover and you can see the spine of his it here on the top left photo: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tzu5747p8au3ugj/OXC2kmtd58

Everything else is perfect on the cover on the site, so the only altercation I'd need is on the spine. Here's the link to the cover on the site with the purple logo: http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=10752

Here's the horizontal retail cover with the spine logo I am looking for: http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=5663

If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it, Thanks guys.

Well I did a craptasticTM version (click to DL):

Should work until I find better logo to make decent cover.

Well I'm fairly new to the site and don't know much about making covers but I think that looks great, not really sure how else you could improve on this one...it's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again, Arseen.

The fix I did was simple copy paste done in MS Paint (copy spine from horizontal, resize to 80% and pas on to the Vertical cover)
You could have done it ;)

To name ew things to do on the Vertical:

The cover is missing title on the back cover, gray bars have something wonkon the lower parts..
Must check SNS and Barcodes.
Front need cleaning.
Back cover's Capcom logo needs moving t the left.

Hah wow, I didn't know it would be so easy. I'll have to experiment a bit to see what alterations I could make on my own to covers already posted on the site.

Now that you mention it, the cover does have some other issues that I didn't notice before. I guess the spine was my primary concern.

Do list the ones I missed.

I'll look for my manual for the game (for new front image) and I'll try to fix it good.

Again, I'm new to this so I'm sure I'll miss a few. Please let me know if these are decent critiques:

-The screen shots aren't the same as on the retail cover, so that would be nice to use the same ones.
-On the retail cover, the backside has a Disney logo (not sure where that could be incorporated into the vertical cover)
-Also on the retail cover, there's three bullet points with the Genie's hand pointing to the content, that would be nice to have on there
-The "F" in "For years" is gold in the retail, but not on the custom
-The font in the description on the custom cover looks like a different font then what was used on the retail

All constructive critic is good and welvcome in my books.
Just remember Verticals are custom by nature so there is more leeway over Hrizontals.

-The screen shots aren't the same as on the retail cover, so that would be nice to use the same ones.
I too would prefer original screenshots, but if good ones of the originals are not available, high quality custom ones are preferred over bad retail ones.
I might try to capture better ones if I have time.

-On the retail cover, the backside has a Disney logo (not sure where that could be incorporated into the vertical cover)
I'll see if I can stick that somewhere.
The space next to the area where the back logo will be is currentlt occupied in my plans.

-Also on the retail cover, there's three bullet points with the Genie's hand pointing to the content, that would be nice to have on there
-The "F" in "For years" is gold in the retail, but not on the custom
Should be easy to include

-The font in the description on the custom cover looks like a different font then what was used on the retail
I'll see if I can locate the correct font free.
