multi-xbox system link advice

I was thinking it would be awesome and not too expensive to have a little 4 xbox/tv setup system linked together. Then I thought, why not 360? Xbox360s are going to get cheaper soon. I'll bet I could come up with 4 of them for 2 or 3 hundred if I hunt hard for deals over the next couple years.
Initially I was thinking about just using some old crt tvs for the system linking that I could find for free, but that will be big, heavy and look crappy. I'd prefer to have a more uniform look. Would monitors work for this? I know they make vg rca to s-video adapters but does it make any sense to go this route or should I just stick with tvs? This is a long term project. I'm willing to be patient to keep cost down and to have it look and play decent.
Tv or monitor for this setup? Is one brand of monitor or tv better than another? Of course I'd prefer to pay as little as possible, but I see price tags like this and my eyes don't bug out. Would something like this work?

This video helped get the idea bouncing around in my head:

You can use that monitor either with:
Official Xbox 360 VGA cable
Or
HDMI -> DVI cable.
Latter being the cheaper option probably.

Don't just buy any monitor. Make sure it can handel 70 and/or 1080 resolution and make sure you do not use VGA.
I have one of my PS3s hooked up to an older Viewsonic lcd and it is not able to handle the higher resolution without warping the video.
