wouldn't know, don't think it'd work out. below the sword would be too low, and i like the balance of the logo as it is. it's all a matter of personal taste.

That's weird - everyone else can see it. Try quoting me and copy paste the link to your web browser?

While I understand you love ALttP, I say drop the subtitle altogether and just make it a Legend of Zelda title. You could always find a non-pixelated version of the Master Sword if you really want it in the logo. Or you could have the pixelated sword vectorized. I'm not sure how it'd turn out though. Vectoring is beyond my skill.

i mean to say "there's not a lot to do other than replacing it down below", as in taking the "a link to the past" part and moving it down and to the center. that way everything could go on the center and the subtitle wouldn't spill over to the right too much. but i spend waaaaaaaay too much time tweaking and retweaking my layouts to decide how i'd actually do it here on the fly. also, it doesn't matter if you're using a logo like this one over the triforce cutout

This.

The sprite art isn't working at all in my opinion.  I think keeping it simpler is the way to go.

Anyone want to take a crack at it? I'll see if I try and vectorize (is that the term, cleaning up to non-pixalated?) the image myself.

What do you guys think? I might add shines like the original and a 3d effect to the sword.

Personally, I think the "Legend of Zelda" text over the Triforce would look pretty classy just by itself. But if you really want the Master Sword to be there, then that looks pretty good. Also, try this rendition of the Master Sword. I think it looks pretty amazing: http://blueamnesiac.deviantart.com/art/ALTTP-Master-Sword-287948645

I think the logo and any kind of fan cutout would look super tacky  ???
I'd go with just a semi-low powered system inside and an exhaust on the back to retain a stock look.

It must have a cutout on top; I'm not running Windows 98 here. I thought about having a stock look but my original NES console already provides that and I'm having it professionally painted so I may as well get something out of it.

How are the letters to be applied over the cut outs?

No, I intend on having the cuts done around the lettering. Although, I'm not exactly sure how it'll turn out so I'm waiting on nesguy's feedback.
