Site suggestion for uploading covers

You seem to be using mixed messages here.  You say that any old shit (my words) is being hosted, but buried in the boards.  This is not being hosted by tcp.net, it's merely links.  What you are asking for is for users to upload anything they want, and stored on site, and visible to the masses.  This is what I say is never going to happen.  This is what will hammer bandwidth, and server space (which is already pretty limited as far as I know)

If you want to create a similar thread to arseens for other systems, be our guest.  It is actually very useful, but it's also time consuming.  As I've said,  if users post and label covers properly, and submit only those that are site worthy, things would be easier to find with a forum search.  I'm not being negative, just realistic.  We don't want to encourage sub-standard stuff being uploaded to the site.  I make plenty of covers from shit source material, and do not want them hogging bandwidth/server space as they are not what this place is about.

I understand what you are saying, but if you create the main category USER UPLOADS and the sub categories NINTENDO NES, SUPER NINTENDO, etc. then the users can post them there like they do know with links from their MediaFire accounts. Pretty simple really. Give me temporary permissions and i'll set it up.

I am thinking of created a vbulletin forum on my server so that we might be able to organize covers a bit better. Would i be stepping on toes doing this? I'm not looking to compete with or replace The Cover Project.
