Got a few things today....
The Vita I got last week, so it's technically a September pick up, but whatever.
Got it used for $120, with a 4GB card inside. The handle attachment I got separately for about $10, which also changes the shoulder buttons into more typical triggers. It's a bit less portable, but much more comfortable.
The Genesis games I got today. Tiny Toons - Buster's Hidden Treasure loose for $3 and Quackshot complete for $8.
I also got a nice package in the mail today...
Following my post in last month's pickup thread where I got (among many other things) an incomplete copy of Lunar 2 with only the case, game discs, and making-of disc, the very generous Mick Dundee decided to send me almost all the rest of the bits for free! ;D That is: The box, the 120 page hardcover manual, the soundtrack, the omake box with the map... Even another case (in better shape than what I've got) with Disc 3 and the making of disc. The only bits I'm missing now are the pendant and the cardboard standees.
Superchop:
Got these amoung other dreamcast games throughout the month of Sept but just got a chance to snap a couple pics today.
All were Ebay auctions that I won. Grandia 2 and Shenmue were from a single auction but the reason it caught my attention was that Shenmue was the LE with the soundtrack included.
Skies of Arcadia I already have for the gc and to be honest seeing what other auctions were going at I didn't expect to win with the max bid I put in. But I won and now my only dilemma is which version do I want to play lol
This game was one that I never thought I'd see myself buying for the price that it was. But I couldn't help but fall in love with it once I played it on an emu. So before prices get any higher I figured it'd be better to get it now then later.
Blumpkin:
Picked up this NES lot for $30 on Craigslist. The guy said he was selling it so cheap because the system was broken (flashing blue screen). I think that all it needs is a good cleaning and maybe a new pin connector, no big deal. I plan to get it up and running and resell it with the games I already own from the lot.
