Sorry no picture :-\

picked up a grey/baige "heavy sixer" Los gatos ATARI logo USA 2600 power supply for $1.99 at a local  thrift.
Now where is that Heavy sixer! I hate how they sell all the systems, cables, and controllers separately in different parts of the store.

From what I've read they have a high dead rate and pose a fire hazard.  Still a nice piece and kinda desirable.

Finally completed my Breath of Fire set.

Picked up at the local reseller.  His prices keep getting worse and worse but I was able to trade a bunch of crappy ps2 games that cost me nothing for 25 in trade so only had to spend $25 cash

Hey! don't knock us mom-and-pop retailers. We need to make a living. :)

BTW - $50 is a fair retail price for that game.

I have no problem with the guy making a living.

I actually really like the dude and if it weren't for him my collection would be a lot smaller.

I just checked ebay and there are a few BIN auctions for BOFIV which are in the low to mid $30's and add shipping and it would be $45 max for me to get a copy.  An auction would be even less so I respectfully disagree that $50 is a fair price.

I'd say $30-$35 would be fair and even at $40 I'd be willing to pay a small premium to support a local shop but he seems to be pricing things at 25-30% above BIN ebay price.

That said he did do me a favor by taking in a bunch of crappy PS2 games that he will have trouble selling which is why I'll keep going back.

I'm actually worried that his prices will scare the casual buyer away and he might have to close up shop which would suck royally.

I've got the same concern about a game shop in my area. Overpriced consoles and big-name items keep me away from the place although you can still find some stuff for good prices ($1.50 for Tomb Raider PS1, $8 for Mortal Kombat SNES). Plus the place doubles as an old-school arcade which is another reason I keep going back :p

Retailers aside though I got some decent pickups this month via trading.

Clive Barker's Jericho, Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Jade Empire Special Edition (needs a cover if anyone has it).

I have Jade Empire, but it's the PAL variant. Could attempt to scan it, but my parents are out of town, so I can't do it at the moment.

If I remember correctly, I uploaded a raw of Jade Empire a few months back. But I believe that my cover is actually an extra, it just has a slightly creased spine. Free to a needy home.
My DS Cover Requests: Anno 1701, A Witch's Tale, A Witch's Wish, Black Sigil, Dynasty Warriors, Flower Sun and Rain, Mage Knight Destiny's Soldier, n+, Time Ace

Here's my weekend...only thing missing is the pizza.

This is my most anticipated title of 2013.  Hopefully it lives up to my high, high expectations.

I have the Limited Edition but my scanner sucks so I checked Cover Galaxy and they had it http://www.covergalaxy.com/forum/microsoft-xbox/11198-jade-empire-limited-edition-ntsc-u-cover-sleeve.html
Or if you don't care if it's the LE cover the regular one looks like a better scan http://www.covergalaxy.com/XBox/Jade+Empire/Cover/

I really miss that game! Clocked in sooo many hours into the multiplayer with a couple buddies I met up with that happen to be from Toronto (only a 4-5 hour drive from me). The first game that seriously got me interested multiplayer. We would consecutively smash kids together one after another on a daily basis until we would desert the multiplayer to the point where we couldn't even find players to play with. Then it got really dead, period. Wonder if anyone still plays...

Anyway, we've been tearing up GTA Online together lately! ;)

Went out to garage sales today, the two i went to I scored at both.

First went to one that listed they had video games and walked out with a nice Dreamcast lot for $20. System, 3 controllers, and 27 games . I was happy with what I paid, and I thought there was nothing really that special, just a few good games like House of the Dead 2, Crazy Taxi, Legacy of Kain, Slave Zero.

But, As I was doing a clean and a proper price check I noticed the Sonic Adventure is Limited Edition, and pretty pricy :) unfortunately it doesnt have the manual.

The next sale was a collector getting rid of some of his stuff. it was pretty picked through when I got there, But managed to grab these 4 games for $40. I needed Kirby and Ogre Battle for my collection, but Mario Party and Wipe Out will be for sale/ trade to recoup some money.

Seeing as October is ending soon, guess i'll post what i got this month... won't have picture this time around though, picture are back in november!! hehe!

I got 4 NES Manual and 1 game (all off ebay) the 4 manual are : Ice Hockey, IronSword, Mario/Duckhunt and Mario/Duckhunt/World Class Track Meet... 8$ shipped to me.

The game was Castlevania (the first) with a damaged label that i will replace, paid 12$ shipped.

I got a 5 SNES game lot for 33$ shipped (off ebay too)
-Donkey Kong Country
-Darius Twin
-Lagoon
-Top Gear x2
Bought these specially for Lagoon to complete the set.
Also got Pac-Man 2 The New Adventure for 3$ yesterday, currently working on a vertical cover but im not a really good artist, it will be a placeholder until we can find a better one! Unless someone got a good one hehe!

I got a ps3 Game for 2$ off best buy because i needed to buy a new router, shipping was free if i bought the game, so got a 6 or 7$ game for 2$ (instead of paying the shipping)
-Brutal Legend

And.....Got everything i needed this month to start building my shelves, been working on it the last few weekend, so i wasnt really active on pickups and stuff...and ps4 is coming, so im saving some money to get some more games at launch!

Next month i should be posting pics of stuff i get and my new shelves!

Can't wait!!
