Octoberber 2013 pickups - C is closing fast!!!

Went to some garage sales this morning. Folks were saying that some guy cleaned out all of their video game stuff at 5:45 in the morning. I had to laugh a bit. That's some dedication!

I only found 2 sales with games out of over 20 visited. First, picked up Mario Luigi Bowser's Inside Story on the DS for $2.

Next I found this Sega Dreamcast. I've never played Dreamcast and I probably won't keep this lot, but what really caught my attention was the condition. It was obviously adult owned.

He was asking $50. I didn't have my phone to check any values so I went with my gut on this one and picked up the lot for $37. It turns out that Street Fighter is a little valuable so it looks like I did alright.

Dreamcast may not be the priciest system, but you did good.
The $37 would cover the controllers at the least.

I might even go so far as to say finding ANY boxed system in that condition with that many boxed controllers and games for that price would be a good deal.

Last weekend I actually found something other than PC games... A Genesis
No power cord or TV hookup but this and the controllers were $4 which to me sounded pretty good...
I know very little about the Genesis so hopefully I'll be able to find the cords and some games for it. >< (and get it cleaned haha)

Not game related pick up a mac mini g4 with power supply .missing (hd,ram,dvd drive) for 6 dollars!!! And it works i test it with parts from my busted g4 powerbook

Take that bad boy apart, DOUCHE the hell out of it, re-assemble it and Aarmor All it. The old Black Sega stuff looks so friggin sexy Armor Alled up.

Dragon's Crown finally came out in Europe last week. I bought it on Tuesday, and only got a chance to play it on Saturday... Awesome game! Mind you 3 of the 4 hours I was playing was spent with me and my mate kicking the shit out of each other in the main town. Funny stuff! Good game. I'm looking forward to getting properly stuck into it!

I still need a copy of Alpha 3 for the DC (because having it for like 3 other systems isn't enough )
